I know it’s laden with sugar. I’m a sugar and salt freak – I freak out when there’s too much of them. However, nothing can really compare to this. I have lunch and I still want to have a bowl of it. I wake up at home and I feel unsettled without a bowl of it. It’s the taste of bananas. It’s whole grain cereal! No trans fat. But of course they don’t mention anything about its sugar content.

You guys should try it. Come to my place I’ll share the joy with you.

In the midst of trying to stagger towards completing these projects, I play the usual music that would probably be what playing Beethoven to young children is to parents.

While doing a bit of research on bookstores, I stumbled upon an absolutely unrelated article that is extremely amusing. I’m sure we all know how Chinese characters became quite a hit as tattoo art some time ago, but some people just get them without really knowing what it means… So this Chinese guy decided to set up a blog to help people to translate tattoos they have already gotten.

Enquiry: Wondering if you could translate this. My friend thinks it says something like, “to learn as much as possible.”
Answer: 空 means “empty, hollow, bare, deserted”.

It is extremely amusing.

Hanzi Smatter

An addiction? As I walked by the holocaust of cigarette butts at the smokers’ area outside my school, I wondered if my consumption might escalate to that extent. It is a costly habit that I strangely have no urge whatsoever to kick. Walking amongst everyone else, I felt different. What shall I do with this new revelation at hand? Do I allow myself to drown silently in it, or seek help? I know that I am consuming it a lot more than I should be – it does not hold a candle even to coffee. I do not have coffee every day. I can do without coffee.

I cannot do without Banana Nut Crunch.

That’s where you notice the (ever so slight) smile, with the light from the lamp posts tip-toeing in through the window trying to get a peek.

Busybodies.

They do help to keep the night sedate, though. All I hear are my thoughts. And the gentle breathing. It’s so quiet, you’d know if someone were taking a stroll outside.

Or doing a little jog.

… This month, at that time of night at least, I’d prefer to assume it’s a someone.

He’s wondering if you guys have missed him. He hasn’t been here for a while; most of the time he’s just chillin’.

Or looking for (my) friends to hump.

That was when I thought I may actually be a lucky person – anyone else ever had a sight like this to behold while zooming halfway across the country? Not many, I reckon.
