This blog needs a new look.
2 years, 2 months and counting, and I still haven’t been able to find a template that I could even force myself to replace this with. It could just be me, but somehow wordpress templates are either too simple, or too complicated.
There. I’ve said it.
Don’t get me wrong though – I love the blogging interface. And this beats having to filter through so many cartoon-ish templates to get to a good-looking one. But ultimately this blog needs a new look, whether the program rocks or not.
Maybe I should try and learn how to build one. Only it doesn’t look easy.
Revisit

There goes a Chinese and Japanese superstition that if a moth appears in your abode, it means that a late ancestor has come for a visit, so you shouldn’t kill it. It’s pretty cool, since moths are pretty much harmless and most would kill it without as much as a bat of an eyelid.
My toilet seems to be able to sprout moths quite often – as well as other sorts of arthropods. It’s as if my ancestors decided to take turns and come see what my siblings and I were up to, were we living up to expectations, were we the well-mannered and matured adults that they would want us to be and all that jazz – which is kinda nice, I guess. They could also be competing with each other to see who could come up in the most interesting form; I get moths and little butterflies and beetles and odd-coloured flies and even praying mantises – I stay on the eleventh floor, by the way -and they seem to take pleasure in making my toilet their pit stop for at least a few days, changing positions once in a while (roaches don’t appear there, they’ve pretty much reconquered my kitchen without mercy).
It gets quite awkward when you wonder why they hang out in your toilet, of all places. It’s not very nice when you think about it.

I made friends with a beetle today. It was about to die.
