The Definition of Irony

I don’t think I could live without a voice.

(If anyone wants to say “But you live without one of reason, ha. ha.ha.ha.” you’ve been beaten to it.)

After wailing my lungs out at Timbre on Thursday night, my throat proceeded to start a rebellion unlike that of Bangkok – confined, but full of fireworks. I could barely speak for 3 days, and all the emotion I could possibly muster was translated into “Cough. Cough? Cough cough cough. Cough!”

At the same time the brain decided to turn into a ball of mucous fluid, with every molecule insisting that the only pathway to freedom was through my nostrils.

(sneeze.)

… What’s my point? I think I lost it. Let me look around and find it first before I continue… Oh it’s hidden within the parentheses.

It doesn’t seem important anymore. I’m gonna go sit in a corner and weep after I click on ‘Publish’.

When In Doubt,

When in love, think.

When in pain, weep.

When in doubt, eat – like there’s no tomorrow. At first you may think it’s a form of comfort, then you realize it just helps keep you busy for the amount of time it takes for you to chew and swallow.

I’m back to gorging myself on Honey Bunches of Oats. Addictive, those – bunches of empty carbohydrates laced with sugar.

Back Again

Here I come again. The third time within a year! The street food, the desserts, the bars, the buildings, the windows, the personality, the modernity mashed with culture, the food, the food, the food!

Life in Mono

June 2nd, 2010 § 2

Monochrome seems so simple and nice. All you need is two colours; mix them in varying proportions and you get an array of tones. Charlie Chaplin makes me happier than Just For Laughs. Dogs look a lot more vivacious without their ruffs. It’s not too rigid cause you still get the little gray tufts.

But add the colours, the red and the blue and the green, and suddenly it gets complicated because not everyone deems them the way you do.

Where am I?
